You are watching Cooking with Vegtabowl Foods and it is Day 18 of the 28 Day Smoothie. If you want to get lean while drinking something GREEN then this smoothie is just for you. This isn’t your regular green smoothie with kale. This rich green smoothie has avocado, orange juice, and banana to balance all of the flavors. If you have been waiting to use your “green” powder, whether it is spirulina, wheat grass, or your detox powder, now is the time to break it out. This is one of my go-to smoothies because it is really easy to blend (no matter what blender you use) since there are not a lot of frozen ingredients.

Day 18

Lean Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • ¼ Cup Coconut Water
  • ¼ Cup Aloe Vera
  • ¼ Cup Non-Dairy Milk
  • ¼ Cup Orange Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Green Detox Powder or Spirulina or Wheat Grass Powder
  • ½ Avocado
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1 Cup Fresh Spinach
  • ½ Cup Ice

Directions:

In a blender, add the ingredients in the following order:

  1. Coconut Water
  2. Aloe Vera
  3. Non-Dairy Milk
  4. Orange Juice
  5. Green Powder of Your Choice
  6. Avocado
  7. Frozen Banana
  8. Spinach
  9. Ice

Blend starting on low, gradually increasing to your blender’s highest setting. Blend until smooth.
